SpeakOut helps the thinkers, writers, speakers and artists of our day inspire youth to raise our consciousness and transform a fractured world.

As a center for progressive arts and politics, Speak Out’s activities include:

  • CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS
    Our network of 200 speakers, performers, scholars, artists, exhibits and films represents the breadth of social and political movements. We encourage critical and imaginative thinking about domestic and international issues through artistic and educational forums nationwide.

    {Use our web site to review our roster, then contact us for more information on costs and availability and to schedule an event for your campus or community.}

  • EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS
    Speak Out publishes and distributes educational materials, curriculum, and diversity resources. Through our on-line store, we also offer books, DVDs, CDs and other merchandise.
  • WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGS
    We organize workshops, trainings and educational institutes to strengthen social justice organizing at high schools, colleges, universities, and in communities nationwide.
  • CONFERENCES
    We participate in regional and national conferences and gatherings that promote and strengthen young peoples' engagement in activism.
